Fall/ winter collection by Le Temps des Cerises

Frans modemerk Le Temps des Cerises heeft haar inspiratie voor de aankomende collectie gehaald uit het bruisende Tokyo. Om iets specifieker te zijn, uit de beste kringloopwinkels van de Japanse hoofdstad.

Ze hebben gekozen voor twee stijlbeelden die de kern van de collectie vormen, namelijk Wall Street en Ethnic Apache. 

Wall Street: het voortreffelijke vintagegevoel wordt gecreëerd door de prachtige kledingstukken. Vrolijke polkadot blouses, gebreide sweaters en jurkjes gemaakt van de speciale stof, chambray. 

Ethnic Apache: brengt je terug in de tijd van de stijl in de Verenigde Staten. T-shirts met verenprint en lederen jacks met glimmende details en schouderaccenten.

Het modemerk heeft gekozen voor drie thema’s voor de aankomende collectie: Heritage, Cerise en Vintage. 

Heritage

Langzaam vervagende kleur die een uniek karakter geeft aan denim, oftewel Indigo, staat centraal. Maar Les Temps des Cerises heeft ervoor gekozen om een nieuwe ‘verkleuringstechniek’ te gebruiken waarbij zij ozongas in plaats van water hebben gebruikt. Deze techniek is niet alleen uniek maar ook milieubewust! Dit is terug te zien in diverse stoffen, waaronder katoenen jersey en voile. De collectie bestaat uit blouses met ruches, chino’s, jumpsuits en T-shirts. Er zijn twee items die er écht uitspringen: het bijzondere jeansjack met schapenvacht en de gebreide poncho. De kleuren grijs en zwart komen het meeste terug, maar niet alleen op de ‘normale’ manier maar ook in strepen en polkadots. 

Cerise

Hier komt de U.S.A. campus geschiedenis terug: ‘old school sportwear’. De collectie is verrijkt met fleece broeken en shorts met een vintage touch, katoenen sweaters en jeans. Hun populairste jeans, de 201,  is in een nieuw jasje gestoken met een dubbele ceintuur en de tailleband geeft je ondersteuning. De perfecte broek die al je oneffenheden verbloemd en je sterke punten naar voren laat komen. De kleuren in deze collectie zijn voornamelijk grijs, navy blauw en rood met hier en daar een print. 

Vintage

Dit thema is echt geïnspireerd door de kringloopwinkels uit Japan.  Het ultieme vintagegevoel! Jurkjes met kant, tops met ruches en liberty print, gebreide truien en denim items met een satijnen finish. De kledingstukken voelen zacht aan met prachtige details die het helemaal afmaken.

Kortom, de hele collectie is uniek, innovatief en fashionable!

French fashion brand Le Temps des Cerises has collected her inspiration for the coming season from the fizzing Tokyo. To be more specific, from the best thrifts in the Japanese capital city.

They have chosen two style images that form the centre of the collection, Wall Street and Ethnic Apache. 

Wall Street: the ultimate vintage feeling is being created by beautiful clothing pieces. Cheerful polka dot blouses, knitted sweaters and dresses made of a special fabric, chambray. 

Ethnic Apache: this style brings you back in time to the style of the United States. T-shirts with feather prints and leather jackets with shiny details and shoulder accents.

The fashion brand choose also three themes for the coming collection: Heritage, Cerise and Vintage. 

Heritage

Slowly faded colours that give the unique character to denim, i.e. Indigo, is the centre. But they have chosen for a new ‘discolouration technique’ of which they use ozone gas instead of water. This technique is not only unique but also environmental friendly. You can see this in the several fabrics, under which cotton jersey and voile. This collection exists from blouses with ruffles, chino’s, jumpsuits and T-shirts. There are two items that really stand out: the special jeans jacket with sheep wool and the knitted poncho. The colours grey and black are mostly visible, but not only in the ‘normal’ way but also in stripes and polka dots. 

Cerise

Here the U.S.A. campus history coms back: ‘old school sportwear’. The collection is enriched with fleece pants and short with the vintage touch, cotton sweaters and jeans. There most popular jeans, the 201, has a new look with a double belt and the waistband gives you support. The perfect pants that camouflages your unevenness and brings out your strong points. The colours in this collection are mostly grey, navy blue and red with some prints. 

Vintage

This theme is truly inspired by the thrifts from Japan. The ultimate vintage feeling! Dresses with lace, tops with ruffles and liberty print, knitted sweaters and denim items with a satin finish. The clothing pieces feel soft and the beautiful details finish it completely.

In short, the whole collection is unique, innovative and fashionable!
