The Dutch Vogue is a fact!

De geruchten gingen al maanden de ronde en sinds eergisteren is het een feit! Nederland krijgt zijn eigen stijlbijbel, de Vogue!

Op dit moment werkt Karin Swerink nog als hoofdredacteur voor de Glamour, maar zij wordt de Nederlandse Anna Wintour. En de fashion verhalen worden door niemand minder dan Fiona Hering geschreven, die de hele wereld over zal reizen voor de beste verhalen over de laatste trends, modeshows en spraakmakende interviews.

Gisteren waren de dames te gast bij het televisieprogramma De Wereld Draait Door. Karin vertelde dat zij een prachtig, kwalitatief tijdschrift wil lanceren, die onder de uitgeverij G&J komt te vallen. De dames zijn nog volop bezig en op zoek naar de beste mensen in fashion land die een bijdrage moeten leveren aan hét tijdschrift. Een officiële lanceringsdatum van de Nederlandse Vogue kunnen ze nog niet vertellen, maar het wordt zeker 2012.

The rumours have been going on for months but the day before yesterday it was a fact! The Netherlands get their own style bible, the Vogue!

At the moment Karin Swerink works as editor for Glamour, but she will become the Dutch Anna Wintour. And the fashion stories will be written by none other than Fiona Hering, who will travel all over the world to write the best stories regarding the latest trends, fashion shows and high-profile interviews.

Yesterday the ladies were guest at a Dutch television program ‘De Wereld Draait Door’. Karin said that she will launch a beautiful, high quality magazine, that falls under the publisher G&J. The ladies are still working and are searching for the best people in fashion land that should contribute to the magazine. They cannot tell what the official launch date of the Dutch Vogue will be, but it definitely will be in 2012.
