Madonna designs shoe line

Na alle grote sterren die fijn schoeisel ontwerpen kon de Queen of Pop natuurlijk niet achterblijven. In de herfst van dit jaar wordt de lijn van Madonna gelanceerd.

De agenda van Madonna staat bomvol, maar ze heeft toch nog een gaatje gevonden voor dit nieuwe project. Ze is volop bezig met de lancering van haar lifestylelijn Truth or Date voor dames tussen de 27 en 50 jaar. Het eerste product is een kersverse parfum die worden ontwikkelt samen met Coty. De uitbreiding zal bestaan uit een collectie fijne schoenen.




Madonna kruipt achter de tekentafel samen met creatief adviseur, Arianne Phillips, om een aantal schitterende schoenen te ontwerpen. De inspiratie komt allemaal van Madge zelf. Phillips vertelt aan WWD: “Het merk heeft echt haar handtekening. Allereerst dachten we samen terug aan alle schoenen die ze door de jaren heen heeft gedragen, en uit deze schoenen kozen we de modellen waar we echt niet zonder kunnen”. Het resultaat is dan ook maar liefst zestig! paar schoenen. Keuze zat voor iedere fashionista want je zult er kunnen slagen van flats tot pumps, van over-the-knee boots en laarzen. Daarnaast zijn er ook nog eens betaalbare exemplaren verkrijgbaar want de prijzen zitten tussen de € 86,- en € 266,-

Vanaf de herfst zullen de voetjuweeltjes te koop zijn bij Asos, Nordstrom en Macy’s. Binnenkort kan je dus in de schoenen van deze top zangeres staan! 

Tot slot kunnen we aan het einde van dit jaar ook nog een lingerielijn verwachten en in 2013 een complete accessoire- en legwear collectie.

After all the big start that designed nice shoes, the Queen of Pop couldn’t stay behind. In the fall of this year Madonna will launch her own line.

The agenda of Madonna is chock full, but she managed to find an open spot for her new project. She is busy working on the launch of her lifestyle line Truth or Date for ladies between the age of 27 and 50 years. The first product is her brand new perfume that she developed in corporation with Coty. The extension will be the line of shoes.

Madonna crawls behind the drawing table with creative advisor, Arianne Phillips, to design a couple of gorgeous shoes. The inspiration is complete Madge. Phillips says to WWD: “The brand totally has her signature. First off all we thought back to all the shoes she has worn true the years, and we picked the ones we couldn’t live without”. The result is sixty! pairs of shoes. So there is enough choice for every fashionista because there will be flats and high heels, over-the-knee boots and standard boots. Besides this all there are very affordable shoes because the prizes are between the €86,- and € 266,-

From fall these feet jewels are available at Asos, Nordstrom and Macy’s. So very soon you will be standing in the shoes of Madonna!

Last but not least, at the end of the year we can expect a lingerie line and in 2013 a complete accessory- and legwear collection.
